Your Mission
As a Business Analyst in our Institutional Performance Management and Evaluation Unit (IPME), you’ll be the backbone of IUCN’s effectiveness. You’ll streamline how we plan, monitor, and deliver conservation impact across Nepal and beyond. What You’ll Do
- Optimize Operations: Map business processes and design solutions to boost efficiency in conservation projects.
- Drive Change: Partner with teams to implement performance frameworks and grant management tools.
- Problem-Solve: Diagnose operational challenges and craft data-backed solutions (SCRUM/backlog experience is key!).
- Empower Teams: Train staff on new systems and ensure IUCN’s policies work seamlessly on the ground.
- Safeguard Impact: Monitor compliance and risks so every project delivers real results for nature and people.
What You Bring
Experience
- 5+ years as a hands-on Business Analyst (bonus: conservation/development sector exposure).
- Proven success in managing organizational change and complex projects.
- Comfort in multicultural settings (experience with NGOs/UN agencies is a plus).
Skills
- Analytical Genius: Turn data into actionable insights.
- Communication Pro: Fluent English (writing reports + presenting complex ideas simply).
- Collaboration Spark: Build trust across teams from scientists to policymakers.
- Tech-Savvy: Business process mapping, backlog management, SCRUM.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Business Analysis certification (e.g., CCBA, CBAP) is desirable.
