About Progressive Youth Society (PYS)
Progressive Youth Society (PYS) is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-religious organization, registered under the District Administrative Office, Bajhang, on March 29, 2004, according to the Social Welfare Act 2034.
PYS has been actively engaged in community development programs reaching out to children, adolescents, youth, women, persons with disabilities, and marginalized groups, including conflict and disaster survivors.
Currently, in partnership with World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), PYS is implementing the Child Wellbeing and Integrated Development Project in Jayaprithvi Municipality and Kedarsyu Rural Municipality of Bajhang.
To strengthen project implementation, PYS is seeking qualified, dynamic, and motivated Nepali citizens for the following positions:

Available Positions and Requirements
1. Education Officer (1 Position)
- Qualification:
- Bachelor's in Education or relevant discipline with three years’ experience
- Key Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of government training modules, TPD framework, national curriculum, and grade-wise objectives
- Focus on literacy, school safety, and community-based advocacy
- Coordinate field staff for successful implementation, training, and BCC material use
- Strong planning, monitoring, and project risk management skills

2. Protection Officer (1 Position)
- Qualification:
- Bachelor’s in Social Work, Sociology, Law, or related field with three years’ experience
- Key Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of child protection (CP), survivor-centered approaches, laws, policies, and mechanisms
- Experience in capacity building for children, parents, and caregivers
- Community campaigning, CP case management, and policy advocacy
- Project management experience and community engagement
- Facilitation of CP-related training and orientation

3. CVA Officer (1 Position)
- Qualification:
- Bachelor’s in Sociology, Social Work, or related discipline with three years’ experience
- Key Skills & Knowledge:
- Understanding of child-related policies, plans, systems, and processes
- Experience in capacity building for community groups
- Project management experience
- Community orientation, training facilitation, and mentoring
- Budget forecasting, quarterly expense tracking, and report writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Conduct capacity assessments and training need assessments for staff and target groups
