Possible Health, a non-governmental organization registered in Nepal, is looking for a People and Culture Assistant to support the People & Culture function while also providing him/her/them with the opportunity to gain people and culture-related skills and experience to advance their career in the People and Culture domain.

Key Responsibilities for People and Culture Assistant:

  • Support the implementation of HR systems, procedures, and policies to build a diverse team, foster a social justice-rooted culture, and strengthen support systems aligned with Possible’s mission, vision, and values.
    • Assist the PACE with personnel recruiting, performance management, professional development programs, compensation and benefits, leave management, code of conduct, grievance resolution, and safety/security management.
    • Support the installation of a digital HR system that aligns with the organization's needs and culture.
    • Assist with onboarding and offboarding for new and departing team members, as well as identifying and arranging professional development opportunities.
    • Support, groom, and guide People and Culture Trainees.
    • Carry out tasks as ordered and defined by the People and Culture. 
  • Support in embedding the organization’s core values into the organizational culture
    • Facilitate values reflection and continual learning to promote internalization and ownership of values as the company grows. 
    • Ensure successful implementation of GEDSI policies and goals. 
    • Collaborate with Possible's many functions to design and execute employee engagement events.
  • Maintain employee records, support PACE for compliance and governance, and assist with logistics, inventory, and communication
    • Support PACE with staff management (attendance, WFH, ID cards, papers, supplies, and technology).
    • Professionalize and digitize HR administrative systems in accordance with Nepal's labor laws and grant criteria.
    • Help with logistics for programs, training, and gatherings.
    • Coordinate with Finance and Operations to ensure that employee benefits are released on schedule.
    • Support the Management and Finance teams during board meetings and compliance.
    • Assist various functions with administrative tasks as required.

Required Qualification & Experience for People and Culture Assistant:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 1-year experience in Human Resource management.
  • Experience working with HRMS preferred.

Required Skill & Knowledge for People and Culture Assistant:

  • Able to adapt to flexible working environment, including working with a diverse team.

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to learning and growth in human resource management.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Nepali.
  • Candidate should be a Nepali Citizen based in Nepal.
