Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Field Research:

  • Visit assigned schools and communities to identify and select eligible research participants
  • Obtain informed consent from participants and carry out structured data collection as per the research protocol
  • Ensure that all data collected during field activities meets the required quality standards
  • Assist the research team in translating and finalizing research materials and questionnaires as needed

Coordination & Reporting:

  • Coordinate regularly with schools to facilitate the smooth and systematic implementation of research activities
  • Work under the direct guidance of the Project Coordinator and Research Supervisor, maintaining consistent communication and submitting regular progress reports
  • Fulfill all other assigned responsibilities required to keep research activities on track and properly organized

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in or having completed a BA, BEd, BPH, or a related field of study is required. Candidates who have obtained health-related training from a recognized institution are also eligible.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in research activities at the community or school level is required. Candidates with knowledge and hands-on experience in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed research methods will be given preference.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using computers and tablets for research and data management purposes
  • Ability to work outside regular office hours when the project requires it
  • Willingness and ability to work in remote areas within Chitwan district
  • Valid Nepali citizenship certificate is required
  • Women candidates will be given preference
  • Candidates holding a motorcycle or scooter driving license will be given preference
