Security Analyst Job Description:
As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for safeguarding the bank's information systems against security threats and breaches. Your primary duties include monitoring for security vulnerabilities, investigating and documenting cyber incidents, and providing solutions to enhance the bank's security posture. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the bank's information systems and ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.

Responsibilities of Security Analyst:
- Monitor the bank's information systems for potential security threats.
- Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents to assess damage and document findings.
- Conduct root cause analysis of security breaches and incidents.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify network and system vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with different teams to conduct security tests and recommend appropriate solutions to maintain a high-security standard.
- Test and evaluate security products to ensure efficacy.
- Execute and monitor internal phishing activities to enhance awareness and preparedness.
- Ensure the implementation of security standards and best practices across the bank.
- Deliver cybersecurity awareness training to colleagues and staff.
- Support the installation of security software to strengthen the bank's security posture.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in information technology and security standards.
Required Qualification & Experience for Security Analyst:
- Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field from a recognized university for Assistant, Senior Assistant, and Supervisor levels.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field from a recognized university for Assistant Officer and Officer levels.
- Experience:
- Minimum one year of relevant experience for Assistant level.
- At least two years of relevant experience for Senior
- Assistant/Supervisor level.
- At least three years of relevant experience for Assistant Officer level.
- At least four years of relevant experience for Officer level.
Required Skills for Security Analyst:
- Experience in information security or related fields is required, with an emphasis on computer network penetration testing and techniques, vulnerability assessment, and understanding of firewalls, SIEM, antivirus, and IDS and IPS concepts.
