Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited, the successor of insurance Pool that was set up in 2003 with the aim to cover damages caused by the terrorism, was incorporated on 7 November 2014, under the Companies Act, 2006 of Nepal in accordance with the decision of Council of Ministers (Nepal) dated 7th August, 2014 to convert the Insurance Pool, Nepal into Reinsurance Company. Nepal Re was formally inaugurated on 22nd December 2014 by the Hon'ble Finance Minister Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat. It is established in the PPP Model with equity participation of Government of Nepal.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited, established under the ownership of the Nepal Government, is inviting applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer. The company operates under the licensed authority of the Nepal Insurance Authority and is located in Thapathali, Kathmandu.
Required Qualification & Experience for Chief Executive Officer:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or similar field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in minutes drafting and event hosting is preferred
Required Skills for Chief Executive Officer:
- Knowledge of the banking industry is an advantage
- Proficient in all MS-Office applications
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficient time management skills and ability to work independently
- Must hold a 2-wheeler license
Required Document's:
- Educational qualification, experience, contact details
- Certificate of Nepalese citizenship and educational qualification/training certificates
- Copies of experience documents
- Business Action Plan (not exceeding 5000 words)
- Application according to schedule 2 of the procedure and self-declaration according to section 6 of the procedure
Additional Requirements:
- Submission of written statements verified by the candidate regarding political affiliations, personal interests, criminal history, financial integrity, tax clearance, and compliance with regulatory body conditions.
Salary & Benefit for Chief Executive Officer:
- The monthly salary and benefits of the Chief Executive Officer will be determined by the board of directors of the company.
