Team Leader Job Description:
Based in Kathmandu, the Team Leader will provide strategic and managerial oversight of the Samartha program. They will lead and support a large team of technical staff, ensure timely delivery of program objectives, and maintain positive relations with stakeholders.
About the Program:
Options is seeking a Team Leader for the anticipated Samartha program in Nepal, aimed at enhancing the capacity of government bodies to deliver quality social services. The program will focus on improving governance, expanding access to services for marginalized groups, and strengthening resilience against various shocks.

Duties & Responsibilities of Team Leader:
- Oversee program development and implementation, ensuring compliance with FCDO and government requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the program team.
- Lead and manage program staff, including recruitment and induction.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including FCDO Nepal and government officials, to promote program objectives and progress.
- Ensure effective financial management and reporting of the program.
- Coordinate inputs from consortium members and represent the program in high-level forums.
Team Leader Qualification & Experience for the Position:
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Experience leading complex programs funded by FCDO or other donors.
- Thematic experience in health, education, WASH, or similar sectors.
- Experience working in Nepal or similar contexts.
- Strong external liaison and negotiation skills.
