Technical Expert Job Description:
We are looking for a Technical Expert in Knowledge Management & Learning to join our team in Kathmandu. The position starts as soon as possible and has an initial contract duration of one year, with strong prospects for extension. Compensation is based on pay grade.

Responsibilities of Technical Expert:
- Design and implement the MEAL Framework, Strategy, and Plans for the project, in collaboration with the team and partners across three countries.
- Develop a knowledge management plan to document, store, and share findings, lessons learned, and best practices.
- Maintain data-driven MEAL systems tailored to program needs.
- Develop high-quality reports and documentation for WHH and donors.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to strengthen the regional Community of Practice (CoP).
- Oversee thematic consultancies, including ToR development and quality assurance of final products.
- Establish learning mechanisms and facilitate reflection and learning agendas.
- Represent WHH at meetings, networks, and working groups as agreed with the Country Director.
- Accompany donors, WHH missions, and other stakeholders on field visits.
Required Qualification & Experience for Technical Expert:
- Master's degree in project management, Data Science/Management, Development Studies, or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience designing knowledge management, evaluation, and learning strategies in areas such as food systems, agriculture, and economic development.
- Strong leadership experience (minimum 4 years).
Required Skills & Knowledge for Technical Expert:
- Expertise in research, knowledge management, and learning.
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data management systems.
- Knowledge of digital-based data collection and analysis, including mobile device applications.
- Strong data analytics and visualization skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Nepali language skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
