Responsivities of IT Support Officer:

 As an IT Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues efficiently. Your responsibilities will encompass hardware troubleshooting, software problem-solving, and maintaining a reliable technological infrastructure.

1.Hardware Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues with laptops and printers.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of faulty hardware components.
  • Maintain an inventory of spare parts for timely interventions.
  • Implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimize hardware failures.
  • Stay updated on the latest hardware technologies and best practices.

2.Software Responsibilities:

  • Resolve software issues on laptops and printers.
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and configuration management.
  • Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential software issues.
  • Adhere to company security policies and procedures during software configurations.

3.Other Office Support:

  • Prioritize and respond promptly to hardware and software support requests.
  • Liaise with other IT departments for complex issue resolution.
  • Document all support activities for future reference.
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest preventive improvements.
  • Participate in IT projects related to hardware and software deployments.

Required Skill, Qualification for IT Support Officer:

  • Relevant degree or certification in IT or a related field.
