Operation Theater Staff Nurse Job Description:

International Nepal Fellowship (INF) seeks a dedicated Operation Theater Staff Nurse to join their team at Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Center in Pokhara. INF is a longstanding NGO committed to providing comprehensive health and community development services across Nepal.

Responsibilities of Operation Theater Staff Nurse:

  • Directing and delivering high-quality patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Serving as both a scrub and circulatory nurse during surgical procedures, specializing in Orthopedics, Spine, Reconstructive, and General Surgeries.
  • Adhering strictly to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and waste management guidelines.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, reporting, and record-keeping using hospital software systems.
  • Demonstrating sensitivity, confidentiality, and a self-motivated approach to patient care.

Required Qualification & Experience for Operation Theater Staff Nurse:

  • PCL Nursing qualification with current NMC registration.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a scrub and circulatory nurse in an Operation Theater.

Required Skills & Knowledge for Operation Theater Staff Nurse:

  • Proficiency in using medical equipment and hospital software.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and align with INF's vision, mission, and values.
